At Junction 36 of the M6 take the exit onto the A590 towards Barrow.
After 3.3 miles turn off the dual carriageway at the A6/A590 “Brettargh Holt Roundabout” take the first exit and stay on the A590 towards Barrow.
Once you enter Ulverston continue going straight ahead until you see a sign on your left for “South Ulverston Industrial Area Canal Foot”, you’re now on North Lonsdale Terrace.
Continue on North Lonsdale Terrace onto North Lonsdale Road (you should pass the Premier Inn on your left hand side), after approximately half a mile turn right onto Cross Lane. At the end of Cross Lane turn left onto Sandside Road.
Slingsby House is approximately 300m on your left.

By Rail

Ulverston rail station is on the Furness Line, between Barrow-in-Furness and Lancaster.
The station has straightforward connections to the main North West line and to TransPennine routes. There are express services from Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness that also call at Ulverston.
